| TdeF 2010, Stage 9 - Morzine-Avoriaz to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (204.5 km) July 13 | thunderthighs | Jul 8th 2010, 08:24 | 197.5km |
| A days rest now its into the main Alpine stage, with the Col de la Colombiere (1, 1618m) pass via Le Reposoir, the Col des Aravis (2, 1487m), Col des Saisies (1, 1660m) and the Col de la Madeleine (HC, 2000m) but no summit finish, rather a long downhill and flat into Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. A favourite in a strong team, or the chance for a break away to succeed? or, will a contender take a chance and surprise us all? | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 08 - Station des Rousses to Morzine-Avoriaz (189 km) July 11 | thunderthighs | Jul 8th 2010, 08:13 | 185.3km |
| The mountains start here. Col de la Remaz (1, 1619m) and a high altitude finish at Morzine-Avoriaz (1, 1796m). | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 07 - Tournus_to_Station_des_Rousses (165.5km) July 10 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 10:17 | 164.1km |
| Nothing enormous yet but the hills are a comin'. Climbs are starting to get longer and steeper so its time to brush off the cobwebs. Here we should get a better feel for who will be heading Le Tour and most hands should be exposed and game plans emerging. A real roller coaster - hopefully in more ways than one! | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 06 - Montargis_to_Gueugnon (227.5km) July 9 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 10:13 | 230.9km |
| Longest stage of Le Tour but essentially for the sprinters again - especially with the long sheltered stretches - so the pace could be hot! | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 05 - Epernay_to_Montargis (187.5km) July 8 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 10:10 | 184km |
| Long and, again, restful if needed and time for the sprinters to build up the points for the green jersey. Not long to the mountains! | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 04 - Cambrai_to_Reims (153.5km) July 7 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 10:08 | 151.2km |
| Just what the doctor ordered? A stage, without major difficulties, and the first entirely French one. Watch out for a tricky roundabout strewn finish. | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 03 - Wanze_to_Arenberg_Porte_du_Hainaut (213km) July 6 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 10:05 | 212km |
| This could be interesting - cobbles! There will be four big sections over the last thirty kilometres, so expect the strong to survive, climbers to slip and fun (even mahem) to ensue. Fear will touch the leaders hearts as they try not to lose Le Tour before it even starts. | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 02 - Bruxelles_to_Spa (201km) July 5 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 10:02 | 196.1km |
| Now it's down to the nitty-gritty with rolling valleys and a mild homage to the “Ardennes Classics” following, as it does, part of the routes for the Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. No big slopes here... yet, but it’s a rugged route on which all sorts of things could happen. | |||||
| TdeF 2010, Stage 01 - Rotterdam_to_Bruxelles (223.5km) July 4 | thunderthighs | Jul 7th 2010, 09:58 | 224.9km |
| The finish of the first stage of this Tour is in Brussels. to celebrate the 65th birthday of Eddy Merckx. The Tour will be crossing the Flanders region and will enter Belgium via Antwerp. The finish of this completely flat stage will take place in front of the Roi Baudouin stadium. | |||||
