[CYCLE TOUR] The Saguaro cactus is probably the most well known icon of the South West of the US. They often live for 100's of years, only gaining branches after 80 years or so of growth. This well known 23km loop ride, just to the east of Tucson in Arizona, takes you past many that were there long before the area was colonised. You start the ride with a bit of a warm-up outside the park but then turn right into a single lane, one-way, road who's ever changing grades meander through the park and eventually lead back to the toll box at the entrance to the park. There are some very short sections of steep grades, but on the whole this should be a fairly easy ride.

The route has some hills & lots of grade changes but its also a fairly easy ride that should be within the realms of most riders.

[CYCLING CLASSIC] This TACX (T1956.22) ride (based on the Green Heart Classic ride of 2007) is set between the four largest cities in the Netherlands, a largely rural farming area with many fine old Dutch towns and villages. In addition there are ponds, rivers and many more beautiful sights as well as having its own cycling tour - if it can find further sponsors! The unique feature of this event is that virtually the entire course lies several meters below sea level and hence does not have any climbs any worse than motorway over or underpasses!

Sights of Interest: The Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace and Speakers Corner. On the way get great views of the Serpentine, The Achilles Statue, Albert memorial and Wellington Arch . This route is based the Central London 4 Parks Ride Easy. It is easy to navigate and should prove very interesting. Please be aware that crossing by Wellington Arch may take time as there is along wait for the light and then only 8 secs of Green in which to cross. The police advise that there is very little traffic on the small open section of the Mall, HorseGuards Road and Birdgage Walk. Alternatively, simply double back down the Mall. I suggest you get a copy of the TFL Cycle map for central LONDON, this shows the locations of all the toilets and Kiosks which could be used as stops.

SkyRideLocal - Ride Well. This mainly road route is suitable for all bike types. For a Ride Well we are aiming for a pace of 9-10 mph. This is a scenic route that offers some challenge at times with several short, and a couple of steep, hill sections. Riders will therefore need 3-5+ selectable gears. Such rides are judged suitable only for ages from 11 upwards (11-15 with, and supervised by, adults). The estimated ride length is 2.5hrs including stop(s). This route avoids the off road section of Shire Lane and the steps down from the Ebury Way on the original route adding another 2 miles making 22.
