| Nice and easy but interesting anyway. The first section through the reserve may not be totally legal but nobody has ever complained in the years I've been riding it. |

START in Womersley and take the unclassified (UC) road east to cross the A19. Turn left (TL) to Pollington. Turn right (TR) and TL to A645. TR on A645 through Snaith, then TL on A614 to Rawcliffe. TL at roundabout (RAB) on A645. TL at RAB outside Drax power station. TR on A1041. TL on UC to Burn. TL on A19 to Chapel Haddesley. TR on UC to Gateforth, TL to Birkin and Beal. Cross A645 to Cridling Stubbs and TL to Womersley. |

| This is a mainly off-road route, the on-road parts being low traffic and speedy. A few short steep climbs and some nice down-hill bits. There is a cafe at Lotherton Hall, which makes a good stop half-way round. Watch out for thorns and punctures during the hedge trimming season.
There are some nice views towards the East. Try to spot which power station is which. Lotherton Hall, Lead Church and the Towton Battlefield are all worth a visit. |
