Certainly not the fastest way to do this one, but this was my way. Montalcino is a hill town, so prepare for a climb at the end of your day. Traffic getting out of Siena, and right after Buonconvento.

[TRAINING WITH THE PROS] On the TACX video you join the riders from team Lampre during one of their training rides in 2009 through the hills of Tuscany along side cycling greats like current world champion Alessandro Ballan and Damiano Cunego. It starts out with this nice easy pace ride of Dornatico to the base of Volterra before, on the second route, completing the climbs of Volterra (531m) and Sassa (366 m), which offer beautiful landscapes and are great for interval training.

[CYCLING CLASSIC] Take a trip back to the very birth of bike racing in Italy! An epic ride through the heart of the incredible Tuscany countryside along the best of the famous Strade Bianche (white roads) following the signed route of L'Eroica from the southerly town of Buonconvento to the finish on the hill top town of Radda in Chianti. Some 2000m of climbing over the rolling 123 km ride with some short sections of steep grades to be found here & there. This ride also follows the route of the popular early season Italian classic 'Monte Paschi Strade Bianche'.

[CYCLE TOUR] A scenic but also tough and challenging circuit of what is regarded as one of the most beautiful islands of the Mediterranean region. The 85 kilometres long ride starts in the east of Elba and then heads inland and back to the coast, past beaches, villages, green and rocky hills and the azure coloured sea, glittering in the sun. The tour finishes with a lap of the famous Elbaman triathlon route. This takes in all the coastal roads to the west of Elba with views of the French island of Corsica in the distance.
