Cyclepath Signature Ride. A 57 km "figure-eight" loop that starts and finishes at the Vic Johnson Area in Streetsville. The first or Western half is the 25 km short route for the Tour-de-Mississauga to nortwestern Mississauga. The second or eastern half is a 32 km route that goes up to Old Meadowvalle Vllage via the Culham trail and then to the City Centre area of Mississauga and then back to the start via the Burnhamthorpe Trail. The 2010 Tour-de-Mississauga starts on the morning of Sunday September 19 at Vic Johnson Arena in Streetsville. See www.mississaugacycling.ca/tour for more infor on the Tour-de-Mississauga. The western loop is either on-road or paved pathways. The eastern loop has significant stretches on gravel and is not recommended for high performance road bikes.
