| This route would connect Westchester/Ladera Hts with Ballona Creek, Wetlands, the Marina, Venice and the Playas. As drawn, there would be reaches of the route on streets due to infrastructure and proposes a new trail on the south bank of Ballona Creek, compatibility needs to be verified vis-a-vis Ballona Wetlands restoration. An alternate could create a bike bridge over Ballona connecting to the existing trail - this makes sense for connecting to routes north.
