| This was the "Tour of Hope" charity ride held on October 9th 2004. Ride started at the Georgetown Prep School in Bethesda. Approximately 1500 cyclists participated. All donated a minimum of $500 to participate. Ride was led by Lance Armstrong and other members of the US Postal cyclng team. The end of the charity ride coincided with the finish of the "Tour of Hope" cross country ride. | |||||
