Starting on the Causeway of downtown Naples, Maine, head south on rt. 114 and after a couple miles take a left on Clement Rd. and a right on State Park Road. Traveling on the west side of Brandy Pond you will pass the entrance to Sebago Lake state park and head over the bridge next to the locks. Keep right and head out to rt. 302 taking a left. A couple miles further will bring you to rt. 11, take a right and then shortly a left on Edes Falls Road. A left on the Wiley Road will eventually bring you out to rt. 35 and a left on that will bring you down to rt. 302, take a right and you will end up on the Causeway again surrounded by Brandy Pond and Long Lake.

This is a fun and scenic route, staying off from the major routes for the most part, lots of ocean views available including Bush family compound and the beaches in Kennebunk. There are some options along the way that will allow some other beach views. Yes, there is traffic, but slow moving for the most part, hey it's Maine and lots of tourists, enjoy!

One of the nicest rides imaginable, especially in the Spring and Fall when tourist traffic is lighter. Very smooth road, most of route is one-way, so bikes can use whole right lane.

Rt. 180/181 and the northern half or Rt. 179 are VERY hilly. Pretty views along Rt. 179, especially along the northern half. Blueberry fields, very isolated. Roads fairly good - not much shoulder but very little traffic. Bring lots of water (only store Otis General Store, 1/2 way down Rt. 180/181.

Rt. 179 is nice road, pretty flat and low traffic. Rt. 200 is is terrible shape, loads of hills, no shoulder, but little traffic so I just took the road. Rt. 200 and 182 were more heavily travelled. Lots of hills. Pretty views in Franklin.
