[CYCLE TOUR] Arizona Trail from Apache Junction (east of central Phoenix) to the end of the tarmac east of Tortilla Flat and the N Apache Trail. In times past a stagecoach route through the Superstition Mountains, it is named after the Apache Indians who once used this trail to move through the Mountains. The route has some hills & lots of grade changes but its also a fairly easy ride that should be within the realms of most riders.

Approx 25 mi on mostly paved bike paths. All street miles are on lightly traveled side streets. Average rider will take approx 2 to 2.5 hours. Plenty of rest rooms along route and very close to a lot of restaurants etc. just off route.
