Start spring by tackling a few hills and increasing your leg powet for the upcoming summer season. This will be a twenty-five plus C ride from harry Grove Stadium Parking Lot. The average spped will be 12 - 14 MPH. Lube your granny gears for Reels Mill Road even though there will be a slower pace on climb to the top. Rider will regroup in order for slower rider to catch up.

Hilly metric century from Frederick, MD. These are some of my favorite roads and hills. Be especially careful on the descent of Highland School road, remembering that there can be deer, oncoming cars, and occasional gravel on the pavement. There are stores at mile 18.6 (in Wolfsville) and mile 45 (a Sheetz in Thurmont just east of route 15) (thanks to B. Randolph!)
