This loop takes you out of Queenstown on the busy route 6A, through the well-preserved 1800s mining town of Arrowtown, and loops back to Queenstown on a rural country road. An optional climb to Coronet Peak makes this route extra fun.

Start at Ships Cove, or at Endeavour, as the bit from Ships is nasty. Three day ride. Stay at Punga or Ferneaux first night, Portage 2nd night. Finish at a little cafe.
