Starts in N. PHX and 95% is on bike trail or low-traffic streets. If you haven't done this 20 mile loop you owe it to yourself. The Paradise Valley portion is particularly beautiful!

My favorite ride. Just about 30 miles of mixed terrain fun in town. Miles 17-23 are all dirt, so that can be avoided if you bike is too delicate.

Approx. 30 mile look around the IE. Riding the SART is fantastic, hopefully they will finish the portion to Redlands. This route mixes in a mile or so of the multi-trail along San Timoteo Creek. It's smooth and flat, so delicate road bikes can even ride on it.

Mixed terrain ride using fire trails through Crafton Hills and Wildwood Canyon State Park. Don't need a mtn. bike, but 35mm or larger tires are recommended. About nine miles of fire roads out of this 35 miler. Last section along San Timoteo is the best!

GREAT 40 mile loop out of Redlands. Some pretty constant climbing, then FAST downhill and wonderful full speed ride through San Timoteo Canyon. Don't let anyone tell you San Tim is dangerous. Yeah, it's narrow, but big deal.

Leaving Redlands, climbing Crafton Hills fire road, dropping into Yucaipa then climbing over the hill to Wildwood State Park. That's a decision point: drop back down to Redlands or continue up Wildwood and drop into Cherry Valley and a return via San Timoteo Canyon. Note: I have not rode over the hill into Wildwood. Can't vouch for the north entrance point. The rest of it is a great all day ride though! Fat tires are VERY helpful, although a mountain bike is overkill. All road bike w/ fatties and drops is best.
