| This is a quiet route to get to BRE from Garston station, which is the closest train station to BRE.
This route is on minor roads and cycle paths.
There is a direct train to Garston from Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey Station (note this station is not the same as the St Albans (City) Station on the main line to London and Bedford). If you are considering travelling via Garston Station ensure that you check train times carefully as the service is only every 45 minutes in each direction. Cycles can be carried on all services on this route.

| This is a relatively quiet route to get to BRE from Watford Junction station. It is mostly on minor roads and cycle paths. Note that there are a couple of points where you should get off your bike and wheel it. A faster ride (on much busier roads) is also on this website.
