Starting at the the top of the Wissahickon Gorge, follow the trail through the woods and along the creek to Kelley Drive. Follow Kelley Drive into Faimount park and all the way to the end. On the way back I cross on the pedestrian bridge at Spring Garden Street and go along the West side until Falls Bridge. Then it's Kelley Drive back to the gorge and then the trail back to your car! It's nothing extremely difficult, but it is pretty long. I ride it on a mountain bike because of the trail section, although once you get to Kelley Drive, it's all pavement. But the trail can be muddy or loose. It's mostly dirt or gravel. A lot of pedestrians. There are some hilly parts on the trail, but nothing very steep. For an extra challenge, the trail portion has several spurs that go off from the main trail to the upper ends of the gorge. Those can be very steep and the path isn't as worn. If you get there at the right time (usually early) you can spot deer in the woods.

Chestnut Hill to the city, a lot of downhill. Home to C.H. is pretty steep in places. Great ride, for me is 13 miles door to door and takes me about 54 mins in, 1.03 home on my mountain bike with slick tires.
