[CYCLING CLASSIC] Paris Roubaix known to many riders as ‘The Hell of the North’, is world famous for being one of the toughest & oldest sporting events on the planet. The most important part of the race takes you over poorly maintained cobbled roads & tracks preserved from a long bygone era. On the TACX DVD you would follow Alex an English (Belgium based) Tacx rider. He starts at the Wallers Arenberg forest (the famous gateway at ‘Pont Gibus’) and rides the last 80 km of this infernal classic - including the main bulk of these feared cobbles, to Carrefour de l’Árbre on a beautiful sunny Spring day. Here you can plan it for yourself. It's not any climbing that will get you, it's the damned cobbles - be prepared!

[CYCLE TOUR] Starting at the breathtaking Formantor light house we take you along twisting roads back off the peninsular to the main island, then after some easy roads take you into the Mountains to take on the world famous Sa Colobra. Route : Start at the Formantor Light house - Port de Pollenca - Pollenca - GPM Coll de Femenia 550m - Lluc - Sa Calobra - GPM Coll dels Reis 682m (Sa Calobra). A spectacular start with some undulating warm up climbs on the Cap Formantor peninsular at the very NE tip of Mallorca. A fast descent down to Porto Pollenca with stunning views of the sea & beaches below. The descent brings you to a long section of flat roads leading you to & past the inland town of Pollenca. The road gradually steepens until the start of the 2 mountain climbs on the ride. The 1st climb is 7km the Coll de Femenia (Lluc) & the final climb is the well known 10km Sa Calobra (Coll dels Reis).

[CYCLE TOUR] A steady endurance training ride through the Black Forest. This well known nature reserve is a protected Natural Park in Germany. This route will take you across the undulating hill country, through dark woods with high pine trees and past authentic villages. The first 25 km feature an average incline of 1% and makes for a perfect warming-up. This is followed by four tough, 4 to 5 mile long, climbs with slopes in excess of 10%. [CYCLE TOUR] Each year over 35,000 riders from all four corners of the world take part in this challenging cycling trek (110 km). The route starts in the centre of Cape Town, covers the majority of the Cape Peninsula and finishes in the Green Point Stadium just outside the city centre. The descent of Chapmans Peak drive (on the TACX video) it even has fire brigade helicopter dumping water on a fire! The Argus Tour is a fantastic ride, thanks in part to the spectacular views.

[CYCLE TOUR] A tough yet very scenic cycle tour in the beautiful Lake District in the northwest of England. The route through this rugged, green national park covers a total distance of 78 km and starts next to the tranquil lake of Wastwater at the foot of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike (978 m). The ride includes the notorious Hardknott Pass with its very steep grades, Wrynose Pass and the highest road of England at Kirkstone Pass. After the descent to the lake of Ullswater the final climb leads to the finish in Matterdale End.

Our route takes you from the bottom SE tip of the park next to the sea (The Solent) right up to the North of the park. We then head back to finish in its heart at Lyndhurst. On the way you will pass picture perfect houses with thatched roofs, The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, the deep oak & pine forests of Bolderwood, heathland and the famous New Forest ponies.

[CYCLE TOUR] This route of Bergen-Voss is not only Norway’s biggest and best-known cyclosportive event, but also one of the world’s most scenic tours.The TACX DVD is 90 kilometres long ride, filmed during the event in June 2011, takes in the last half of the race, following fairly easy, undulating roads along the sides of the famous fjords between the coastal town of Bergen and the ski resort of Voss. Towards the end one longer climb appears, but the slopes are not so steep and halfway up there is a reward of a spectacular waterfall. Bergen-Voss is breathtakingly beautiful.

[TRAINING WITH THE PROS] This route follows a TACX video of the Rabobank cycling team in Almeria (ES) 2010. The whole team takes part in the 100 km long endurance training, under Coach Louis Delahaije’s supervision, which is alternated with 4 individually ridden mountain intervals. You could ride amongst world class pros like Robert Gesink, Oscar Freire and Denis Menchov or, get on the route and do it for yourself - but you will miss observing their riding style at first hand and maybe improve your own technique. The training video ends with a few short sprints from a virtual standstill - all from the perspective of a helmet cam.
