| The route is a rough triangle running from Oxford to Malmesbury to Chipping Campden and back to Oxford. The run out to Malmesbury is quite flat and quite fast. As we head north-ish from Malmesbury we come to the Cotswolds and the route gets hilly after Cirencester. The hills continue most of the way to Chipping Campden but after Chipping Campden, the terrain is gently rolling and more downhill than up. This is a really good ride through some lovely English countryside with views to match the hills. The controls are Malmesbury and Chipping Campden which both have good cafes and a choice of shops. There are also info controls at Shrivenham and Shipton-under-Wychwood, both garages with shops.
