| 17.5 mi from my house, lots of good hills, some 12%. A warmup for a few miles, then a hill, then about 2 miles to recover, then another big hill, and so forth. Out and back. Make it 12.5 mi if you begin at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church. My favorite short training ride. I have gotten up to 49.9mph on the big dip on FR 159. |

| I love this route because it has a nice balance of ups and downs. Also, very little traffic on Morganford due to all the lights and stopsigns. |

| 2018 ft. of vertical. Beginning at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church, this route gets quite hilly after a warmup of 2-3 miles. The route is low traffic and beautiful! I get water at the McDonalds at FR 103 and HWY 160, a church at the corner of Z and FR 34, and at the old church in Ebenezer. |

| Avoiding the trail except where paved in Willard, this route is probably the least hilly way to avoid HWY 123, take low traffic back routes, and make it from Springfield to Walnut Grove. It is out and back the same way (it looks different coming back), so call it 50 miles from Hillcrest Presbyterian Church. Call it 1271 feet of vertical (for the round trip). By the way, the Bikely tracker does not track the trail, but I use the paved portion through Willard, not the road. I add a few miles, and from my house it ends up being 60 miles.
