| [TRAINING WITH THE PROS] This route follows a TACX video of the Rabobank cycling team in Almeria (ES) 2010. The whole team takes part in the 100 km long endurance training, under Coach Louis Delahaije’s supervision, which is alternated with 4 individually ridden mountain intervals. You could ride amongst world class pros like Robert Gesink, Oscar Freire and Denis Menchov or, get on the route and do it for yourself - but you will miss observing their riding style at first hand and maybe improve your own technique. The training video ends with a few short sprints from a virtual standstill - all from the perspective of a helmet cam. |

| The Crossing is designed to pack in 3 National Parks in 3 days across Northern England. The course will feature a variety of terrains and much off-road riding. It is designed to flow as a journey and to be achievable by a large cross-section of riders. You don’t need a full-face helmet and body armour for this event (!) but you will need to be comfortable on off-road terrain and be ready to switch regularly from tarmac to trail to gravel and back again. This is Day/Stage 3 of 3 from Northallerton to Scarborough.
Day/Stage 3, Northallerton to Scarborough.
Coming over the North York Moors and seeing the sea is one of life’s great pleasures, whether you are 6 or 60. Before you earn this view though, you’ve got a lumpy n’ bumpy day of open-topped moor, forest trails and gorgeous valleys to ride through. This route will guide you east towards Dalby Forest, itself a mecca for mountain bikers. Once through this last major objective it’s wheels down to the Yorkshire Coast and a triumphant entry into Scarborough from the North-West, to sweep into North Bay and dip a wheel in the water of the North Sea. Just remember to stop riding. Next stop is... Zeebrugge? |

| The stage that by tradition pays homage to the flamboyant winner of the La Vuelta will depart from Circuito del Jarama, which already lived a "short" experience of only four km in a team time trial in 1974.
On the streets of Madrid, the public will enjoy the switch backs that the cyclists will follow along Paseo de la Castellana, Gran Via and Paseo del Prado. As usual, the first lap will be led by the team leader, but once past the finish line the fight will start to mount the podium for the last time in the 66th edition of La Vuelta a España. |

| [CYCLING CLASSIC] Unlike T1956.40, here you can get much closer to the 'The Full Monty' that is the Clasica San Sebastian. The TACX film follows 90km of the tough Basque cycling classic. Experience not only the wooded and mountainous Basque surroundings, but also the spectacular, scenic coast road into San Sebastian with beautiful sea views. The terrain is very diverse and ideal for training rides. The route contains two tough climbs, among which the ascent of the 455 metres high Jaizkibel, the legendary mountain that so often plays a decisive role in this classic. |
