| Riding from my sister's place to my mom's in the dead of night.
I tried to avoid riding on Kingston Rd, south of the 401, and find nicer ways in its general direction, though that was not easy in the dark.
When I got to Port Union road I purposefully went out of my way north of the 401 and along Kingston Rd through Pickering just to see what it was like. Normally there is heavy traffic, but after midnight it's pretty clear of cars.
Despite the darkness, I came across some interesting places. I shall have to investigate more in the light if I get a chance. |

| Shaw St. is one way, going south. It's absurdly easy to get from our place to the waterfront this way. It's also virtually all downhill. Getting back is more tricky. |

| I live twice as close to my place of work now. I miss the much longer uphill grind I used to have. Davenport is a road that generally runs along the base of a fairly steep (though not very high) hill. So Here's one route home that adds hills. |
