| Nice easy ride for beginners to get a little distance under their belts. Cycle path along East Lancs Rd (A580). Cut down Warrington Rd, through Glazebury (open countryside). A couple of nice watering holes for those with a thirst, The George & Dragon or The Raven's Inn. Then saunter back through Cadishead, Winton and back to Worsley. | |||||

| A flat route with some long well tarmaced roads on the Irlam bypass followed by some scenic roads through Warburton and Dunham. The only downside is the final stretch down Washway rd and the A56 which other than on a Sunday is high in traffic. I did this route on a Sunday but would avoid like the plague any other day, possible alternative could be taking a left halfway down Washway rd toward Carrington down Carrington rd, then heading through Urmston back to Trafford. | |||||
