| We found the best way to get to Cumberland to ride the entire length of the C&O Canal Towpath is to do a one-way truck rental. This is the ride from the Budget Truck Rental office to the Holiday Inn in downtown Cumberland. The Holiday Inn is only blocks away from the C&O trail head. |

| Road on April 4, 2009. The climb back up Piney Mountain certainly is an attention getter. I had to stop twice to catch my breath. Tower Road is a hard packed dirt and gravel road. Remainder of route is on asphalt. |

| Great bike ride from the Maswik Lodge along the bus route and trails on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to Hermits Rest. A wonderful way to tour the canyon. Took trails on the way out. Stuck to the road on the way back. |

| Ride from the Keeneland Race Course to the Woodford Reserve Distillery. I like to take this ride during Keenland's spring meet. You leave early from the track to catch the 10 AM distillery tour. After the tour, you double back and enjoy a day at the races. |
