Long slow climb out of Foix and then undulating farm land through foot hills to St Lizier near ST Girons. Spectacular caves at Le Mas d'Azil.

This stage is half a day to allow time to explore St Bertrand-de-Comminges at the end, very good campsite with pool. Lots of grazing on the way if September.

Much tougher day with Col d'Aspin at the 30 KM mark, 800 Meters of climbing on this one pass. Take care on main road between Heches and Arreau.

Easy day to Lourdes with one medium climb half way. Campsite located on other side of Lourdes town. I recommend cycling through Lourdes rather than follow the trail but I don't remember the best way.
