| Starts in downtown Southport, CT, but east coast greenway gives suggestions all the way from New Haven. Created by cobling together the East Coast Greenway suggestions ( http://www.greenway.org/maps/googlemaps.htm ) with personal experience and the NY City bike map ( http://home2.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/bicyclists/bikemaps.shtml ). I haven't actually tried it, and probably won't for at least a year, so if anyone can vouch for sections or has done the whole thing please say something in the comments. I do know for sure that it is safe all the way from Fairfield to East Norwalk. | |||||

| Relatively relaxing ride. Except for the big hill as you enter the park, there is very little uphill. The hill itself is only half a mile, so it is definitely walkable. If you are going or coming from Portland, you can take the Springwater Corridor trail most of the way. | |||||
