traffic heavy when riding on herber hoover hwy, after you pass the on/off ramp traffic is much lighter. also, trucks/fast traffic on hwy 6.

sandroad (going south) is very flat and smooth, great shoulder to ride on. going back north on oak crest hill rd has regular hils. oak crest hill road is an old road and pavement is junky... traffic is very light so you can easily bike around potholes, etc.
