The Calfkiller climb starts at Mile Marker 6 on 84 after you enter Putnam County, just fyi.

The other route went down Old Wauhatchie Pike but it no longer goes anywhere. Also, once you hit 156, you are on the 3 state 3 mountain route and it is well marked until the end.
