| This is a relatively easy way to get from downtown Manhattan or Brooklyn to the Kissena Velodrome in Queens. There is one short hill at Eliot Ave. It's wise to take the full lane for a short distance on Eliot while riding past the cemetary (about 1 minute) because the road is too narrow for cars and bike to share. Or ride the sidewalk for this section. Metropolitan avenue is not much fun but you have to get through brooklyn somehow, and it's plenty wide. | |||||
