| Nice easy ride for beginners to get a little distance under their belts. Cycle path along East Lancs Rd (A580). Cut down Warrington Rd, through Glazebury (open countryside). A couple of nice watering holes for those with a thirst, The George & Dragon or The Raven's Inn. Then saunter back through Cadishead, Winton and back to Worsley. | |||||

| Undulating course, taking in Plodder Lane (gruelling finish to the Bolton Marathon). Nice drop down to Atherton. Then steady route through Hindley Green, Abram, Golborne and Lowton before beginning the steady route back through Leigh to Worsley Marriot Golf Club. Nice point to start and finish, in the grounds of Worsley Old Hall. Take advantage of the nice beer garden if the weather permits. | |||||
