| Rolling short training ride with a kick in the tail of the climb up Cleish. Starts and finishes in Dunfermline. About 32 miles long, In winter the highest section of Cleish can be covered by snow. Powmill Milk Bar is handy for a coffee and and cake if you need some shelter or fuel. - Graeme Mair | |||||

| This route starts at Peebles car park.It is approx 67miles with a few climbs. It is best done on a clear sunny day to really appreciate the spectacular scenery. The roads are surprisingly in good nick .There is a tea room and pub at Yarrow or Kirkhope. - Jim Welsh | |||||

| A long training ride on some of my favourite roads. I usually ride this clockwise Starts and finishes in Dunfermline. About 132 miles long, Best to head off early ie 6:00am or so to get through Callander and Blair Drummond before all the Tourist coaches and the like clog up the roads. The route shown uses the A road on the north side of Loch Earn but for an alternative and more scenic route albeit slower road take the road on the South side of Loch Earn which passes the CTC Hut. In Creiff on the main High Street there are a couple of Tea Shops for a coffee and a bun, it's a slight detour of the actual route shown. The section after Gleneagles can be quite exposed if there is a wind up. As there is an Equestrian centre near Gleneagles so watch out for Horses. Also watch out for golf balls when passing through Gleneagles! - Graeme Mair | |||||
