Start anywhere along Creekside Trl from Xenia to Iron Horse Trl intersect, where loop begins + ends. Dist Total= 40+ /loop= 15+ mi; stem = 12+ mi ea way. Creekside Trl (Greene Co.) is like a stem; the Dayton loop is the flower. The full length Xenia 'stem'= 24 mi rnd trip; the shorter 'Alpha stem' = 12+ rnd trip. Rotary Commty Park @Factory Rd/Alpha, is a good trailhead for carpark -makes the miles = 27+.

Start along Creekside Trl @Factory Rd/Alpha -Rotary Park lot, good trailhead; ride to Iron Horse Trl intersect, where loop begins + ends. Creekside Trl (Greene Co.) is like a stem; the Dayton loop is the flower -w/ option at Stewart St. bridge to continue downriver to Carillon Park (or further) and back to continue loop east on Stewart St. Dist Total= 27+, where loop (as mapped) = 15+ mi; stem = 6+ mi ea way. The course loops on the US 68 and adjacent sideroads parallel to it betw outskirts of Springfield + Xenia, passing twice thru Yellow Springs. Start/End in YSO/Bryan Ctr -Go NORTHBOUND =ride CCW. No urban road situation except the 68 but in a rural context Traffic volume + speed = Low-Mid level; no more than most busy roads; made safer because of ample wider berms ...that is the secret. Can use (as shown) Biketrail from Oldtown Reserve <> Jacoby Rd If ride CW [in reverse of this info] passes Young's Dairy near finish (mile 30)
