87km ride with quite a lot of climbing, mostly on quiet roads. The gorge road will be busy in tourist season. In April, when we rode it, it was quite quiet. There are plenty of places to stop and get sustinence, but there isn't a lot on the road from St Martin to Vallon Pont d'Arc until you reach Chame (riding anti-clockwise).

A lovely, lovely ride through winding forest roads to the hilltop village of Lussan. Here you'll find ancient walls to sit under and watch the view, and a village centre restaurant for a restorative beer. Not to be rushed!
