| this route includes the shuttle to the Myra Canyon parking lot. You need a mountain bike for this one. After Chute lake trail becomes very rough with pockets of sand. I hit the last pocket of sand before the outskirts of Penticton and ruined my rear STI shifter on my Tricross. The wrong bike for this trip! |

| My first ride across the border. Posted for Cindy. A ride Aug 18, 2006 to Lynden , WA. Took the MV Plover Ferry across the Blaine Harbor to the Semiahmoo Peninsula. This ferry only runs on the weekend during the summer months. On the hour from Blaine and on the half from Semiahmoo. Next time I would skip H St and take the Birch Bay Lynden Rd back. I will update this route the next time I do it. |
