The route takes in many quiet roads with only a few short miles on busy ones (the A51 and tha A515). You can avoid the A51 section by re-tracing you outward leg back to Admaston, this has the added advantage of taking you past the Wicket Inn, a great place for a pint.

Taking in a variety of roads, some busy but most very quiet. Takes in the short but very steep Buttermilk Bank near Abbots Bromley. Beware the signs, they only state 13% but my Garmin Edge 705 recorded over 25 for most of the hill and a max of 29% near the top.

A Route Cam bike route beginning in Hixon at the car-park for the Millennium Green. The route heads to Stone, Eccleshall, Woodseaves and then back to Hixon. It can be started at various points on the route. There are cafe's and pubs in Stone, Eccleshall and Woodseaves. There are no real difficulties but care needs to be taken crossing the A34 and at the traffic island under junction 14 of the M6. The Route Cam video can be seen here - http://youtu.be/eE_3EiRgLqg

A ride in the Zillertal Alps taking in two 2nd Cat climbs (to Astegg then from Finkenberg to Hintertux). Stunning views out over the Zillertal and Tuxertal valleys. Various places to stop for refreshments - I used Gasthof Astegg as they do excellent soup. The video of the route can be view in HD here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-UAceZOq_o
