The First 10 miles and the last 3 are fairly busy but the rest is just lovely. In particular it is well worth working the section from the A426 to Willoughby into any route you have planned.

50 miles each way makes quite a nice easy first 100 mile ride, this was the route i took although amending the route to avoid main roads south of oxford would have been a better plan

45 km route along mostly very quiet country roads, decent road surface most of the way, biggest hill is the one coming out of Bugbrook (if you ride this clockwise) but that isn't very big.
