| The two main long stay car parks in Hebden Bridge are within the loop shown. One currently charges 40p/hr and the other 60p/hr so try the Market Place one first! They are shut from Tuesday evenings to Thursday evenings for the local market. Arrive before 10:00 PM if you want a place - they fill up early! |

| A 22 mile loop from Hebden Bridge taking in Blackstone Edge from the Littleborough side. I've put in 3 diversions from the main valley roads. If you avoid them and stick to the A- roads, the loop is near enough 20 miles and a good test to try and do in an hour! (My best so far is 1 hr 9 mins). I like the diversions up through Mankinholes, Calderbrook and the Old Blackstone Edge Road. Watch out for road closed signs and a damaged road surface on the Calderbrook road. The road has slipped and is closed to motor vehicles but I've always been able to get through on my bike. Take care, especially if you do the loop in the opposite direction - the road surface drops away suddenly! |

| Day 3 of a 3 day tour from Sheffield to the Yorkshire Dales. This is a shortened version of day three but the start is very scenic, exposed and isolated so BE PREPARED and take care! If you want to extend the route from Ribblehead, ride down the B6479 to Horton-in-Ribblesdale or Settle to catch the train home. |

| This is a hard, scenic loop from Hebden Bridge. Make extra sure your bike is in good condition for this one because the steep ascents and descents will soon find any weakness in you or your bike!
If you want a cafe stop, call in at the tearooms on the top floor of Moor Lodge, Scar Top (see http://www.scartop.com/moorlodge.htm) on your left after about 32 miles.
This is a 50 mile route, but if your legs are already shot on the climb back out of Oxenhope, you can ignore the left turn up the killer climb and take an 8 mile shortcut back to Hebden Bridge over Cock Hill. Many cyclists take that option! ;-)
Please note - if you do the full route, there is a half mile stretch of tatty unmade road which is potholed and gravelly. It's passable with care on a road bike. Just watch where you are riding and don't go too fast. |

| A tough half century ride with some steep ascents and descents which you need to take care on. There is a Post Office shop in Cononley where you can buy supplies. Possible refreshment stops: Black Lane Ends pub (great views from tables outside), cafe at Wycoller (just off the route before Trawden) or Coldwell Activity centre cafe. A killer climb at Thursden is followed by an easy, scenic ride back to Hebden Bridge. |

| Start/Finish at Market Place car park Hebden Bridge. It is a long stay park and only about 30p/hour. Don't skimp on the pay-and-display - wardens are always on the prowl!
The route is 83 km in length (52 miles) and squeezes in a lot of climbing, some very tough, totalling about 1,900 m (6,200 ft). Not for beginners!
Watch out for Scar Top Moor Lodge on your left at about the 64 km point. They have a good cafe/tea room upstairs. |
