| This ex-railroad right of way presently used as part of an RV park would make an excellent bypass for kids on their way by bike to the nearby Jr. High School as well as bike commuters coming out of the Chatsworth Metro Rail station (which station is right across Lassen to the North). This extension of bike path should be made part of the Orange Line Northbound extension. It would bypass heavy car traffic on Lassen and on Owensmouth between Lassen and Marilla. Until then, levelling the rough sidewalks on adjoining Owensmouth and Lassen would be good interim improvements; those sidewalks have rough spots and the streets are too narrow to accommodate bikes. | |||||
