| There's a pedestrian bridge over I-696 at Thomas. I stay on the sidewalk from Van Dyke till I cross 12 Mile going south at the light. Both Java Hut in Ferndale and Caribou have places to sit outside, but Java has the NYT. | |||||

| Be extremely careful about crossing at the light at Schoenherr and Grospeck! Continue on Stephens through the parking lot to get to Schoenherr. Also continue in the parking lot to get from Stephens to Harper. At that point there is no light to help you cross. Again, be careful. Have fun! | |||||
