| Great Warwickshire countryside route. Some very popular cyclist lanes used. Once out of Warwick roads very quite. Undulating coutryside with a couple of long drags and one resonable climb out from Tamworth. Cafe 3/5ths distance at Earlswood Craft centre. Reasonable priced cyclists fare. |

| Rolling Warwickshire & Oxfordshire Courntryside. Climbing past the windmill at Chesterton at start and running along under Edge Hill escarpment. No serious climbs. Cafe stop at Shipston "The bakery" - bit pricey. Plenty of pubs and shops on route. Generally low traffic volumes but Harbury Lane out of Leamington and return from Wellesborne can get busy. Great traing ride. |

| Fantastic summers day ride. Quite roads and easy start leads into a long steep (one chevron) hill at 45km from Barton-on-the Heath to Little Compton followed immediately by a longer moderate Hill upto the Rollright stones. Cafe in Garden Cetre just past Stones. Very long fast decent after leaving cafe but beware Traitors Ford just before Brailes. 2 Short, sharp climbs into Winderton. Flatish ride back into Warwick under the Edge Hill escarpment in the last few miles passing Chesterton Windmill. |

| The start/end point for this route is the stable car park of Warwick Castle.
Some good climbs to get the legs working with some equally good descents. A majority of this route covers some busy roads as well as an offering of single track country lanes.
NB The route shown on the map negotiates the busy roundabout over Junction 15 of the M40. This is not the case, just before the straight for the motorway junction is a nice quiet side street which leads to a foot bridge over the motorway, joining the A429 on the other side. Unfortunately the map system does not recognise the footbridge. |
