| This route leads you uphill to Mihailovo then after a bit of a tramp uphill it goes downhill and takes you through the mainly derelict former residence of Todor Zhivkov. Unfortunately it is not abandoned and the security guards will want to take you inside to get down your details. They seem to be part of the Bulgarian Ministry of National Security and are quite insistent and serious about their job. They might let you out of the gate at the end. |
