Least steep route to San Mateo's Laurelwood Center exdnc Jul 3rd 2008, 09:07 2.9km

  • Low traffic
This is the most direct and least steep route from San Mateo to Laurelwood. There's plenty of opportunities along the way to take side streets to break up the climb. It's almost continuously uphill. If you want a rush for the way home, take Hillsdale back to El Camino. You can easily hit 40 but watch out for the stop sign at E Laurel Creek Dr. It comes up fast.

San Andreas fault paved bike path nabgilby Feb 2nd 2009, 02:49 9.2km
Mostly flat except at around 4.5 miles in, then steep. Might want to quit at the dam, further uphill not much more to see.
