| To get to Watt Avenue bridge's access to the American River Bike Trail from Howe Avenue and Sierra Blvd., this is a nice shortcut through quiet neighborhoods, primarily. It can save time in the morning, when compared to the other option, accessing the trail from Campus Commons. |

| Route from Arden Mall Area. Coming from further South it may be easier to access the bike trail at Hurley/Ethan. Cutting through Arden Mall seems to be safer than using Arden/Exposition Way, but this depends on the time of day and traffic. |
