| Passing through: Page Mill, Moody Rd, Foothill, Sand Hill Rd, Cañada Rd., Hwy 92 (the section on 92 is not safe -- no shoulder, traffic 50+ MPH zipping by), Skyline - a good, long climb with about a 5-6% gradient over about 5 miles, and a fun downhill on King's Mountain Rd. |

| This is an alternate loop I do almost every Sunday morning with a bunch of other riders. We meet up at Woodside bakery (great pastries!) and warm up to the bottom of Old La Honda. Then it's sweat and tears all the way to Skyline. Then we continue on Skyline and climb some more to the junction of King's Mtn and Skyline. At this point, we take a right down King's Mtn and end up at Woodside bakery again for some well-deserved refreshments. The distance isn't too long but there is a lot of climbing (there's quite a bit more even after the challenging climb up Old La Honda). I usually ride to Woodside bakery for good measure. |
