| Seventy miles on Skyline, from Front Royal to Pinnacles. Bring a headlight / taillight for the short but very dark tunnel 32 miles into the route. Also bring bug spray if you plan on taking a breather at the top of Pinnacles. |

| Start at the base of Skyline Drive, and keep biking up for approximately 20 miles until you reach the top big Hogback Mountain (it's a huge overlook, and if you turn around, you can see a little weather station on one of the peaks). |
