Totally Wyred Imperial Century

An imperial century starting from Spring Wood picnic centre, Whalley, near Blackburn. It is a little bit lumpy at the start and finish but there is a long flat section in the middle in the Fylde and Wyre districts so this is very fixed wheel and singlespeed-friendly. Outward leg through Walker Fold north of Longridge Fell. Ride through Kirkham and eventually to Elswick where you can buy an ice cream (or other snack) at Bonds and the route calls in at the cafe at Knott End-on-sea. Shops available at Longridge on the way back, then continue through Ribchester back to Whalley.by ColinJ
