footbridge over railway, with tireguide for bikes.
Small set of stairs here. Dont cut S-E/N-W across the track&field, there's a fence there, dead end.
unfortunately worst part of the ride. long straight, not great pavement and a number of noisy trucks (but 4 lane road to they give you wide berth). The tracks to north and QEW to south really limit choices in this area. Queensway is a worse ride for dangerous traffic.
diagonal thru huge commercial/industrial sprawl lot is a big win. watch for bad drivers near the movie theater on fri/sat nights :(
Ride s.side queensway sidewalk. No people, safer, and must turn off thru catwalk into res area to south west of etob creek bridge anyway.

Nice little path over a stream in a forested park. Good shortcut between quiet treed residential areas on empty streets.
