The way points of this bicycle route:
Ride down the high way to Gordonvale
Turn left toward Atherton, fairly crappy road to the base of the Gillies Range
the gillies range is just short of 20 kms the gradient is pretty constant, the veiws are pretty awesome
head through the hills to Yungaburra
Now for the fun hills to the the top of the kuranda range
This decent is a lot shorter then the gillies, watch for trucks, cars, motorbikes and tourists esp at the look out
Feeling a bit tired? well thi is the home stretch
