SkyRide Local, Summer Holiday Run

A Ride Well (9-10mph pace). This is a great ride with some tough challenging hills (@ 4 and 13 miles) taking in parts of the National Cycle Network and Rickmansworth aquadrome (The Cafe stop at 12.5 miles). The start point is The Lido, formerly a canal reservoir and the film location for Cliff Richard's famous 60's movie 'Summer Holiday' (which was set in Greece!) Whilst the majority of the route is on tarmac roads, four miles are on shale paths.by thunderthighs
