90 miles - pitlochry, loch tummel, glen Lyon and Lochry, Loch Tay and back
by roger7767

The way points of this bicycle route:

nice rapids

pretty lochside

OK uphill for quite a while take it steady

enjoy the view of Schiellon, downhill for a bit

OK this is where it gets seriously beautiful, uphill but not too bad

nice cafe, shop and post office, great soup and useful supplies

tarmaced rd despite not looking like this on OS map, slt potholed and loose rock in places so take care going downhill, fairly steep in places but worth it so keep going, although the retuen trip down Glen Lyon would also make a good route.

another beautiful glen

you could go left and back the A rd slt less undulating but not nice fast traffic and the views aint as good

this picks up the Sustran route and you then follow this all the way back to Pitlochry, if you are tired the undulations can be taxing and the 15 miles along the side of the Loch can feel a long way as my wife can vouch having done it about 22 wks pregnant from Drymen

good posh pub here

or is it here can't quite remember, please forgive me if I got your hopes up earlier

was being resurfaced with loose chippings, a bit of a pain but not a major problem

old railway bridge I think

foot bridge 1/4 mile or less before festival theatre
