a rural route over the old racecourse and back along the tanat valley - main ascent is to the racecourse then just gentle undulation all round - there is plenty of parking along the route or in the middle of oswestry (pay and display). good cafes in oswestry or pub stops at llansilin, llynclys or the green man (junction of lane with B4396)by anweledig
