The way points of this bicycle route:
tobermory has yummy fish, a grocery store and tourists. it is a hub of passers thru. the traffic is heavy in waves due to the ferry.
turn east for a quick swim at a public canoe launch beach.
turn west to happy hearts camping.
turn west to singing sands, one of ontario's lovliest baches. worth the visit.
turn east to check in at the bruce national park you can camp at cyprus lake or swim at the grotto or overnight hike into remote camping along the georgian bay shore.
heavy traffic at times. both ferry traffic and campers. wide shoulder most of this stretch. sometimes its paved. long gradual hills.
this is a pleasant traffic free route. I am happiest on these paved backroads.

go east back to the 6 or go south on beautiful stokes bay road, it is lovely to ride.
store and restaurant and camping on lake huron's shore.
pretty little birdhouses all in a row.
west takes you to another primo swimming beach.
west to a little store
a fantastic cmpground is out on this beautiful peninsula. worth the sidetrip, stay a couple days with your tet on the shores of georgian bay.
so very little traffic. its only the locals really.
busy hwy again.
food everywhere! stores! civilization!! camping on the beach! LCBO! by the way the 6 is a HUGE and BUSY super-hill of a hwy. be safe.
hang an east here for a lovely panoramic view and ride of georgian bay.
side hike. go check it out. a guy named Bruce decide to walk the trail and live in these caves to avoid civilization. I'd wanna live there too, (with a bit of touching up though)!
