The way points of this bicycle route:

front door

start here

edgewood & crestview

left turn - early in the morning, it's okay ...

right on cordilleras

watch for people backing out of their drives

right on canyon

small climb

(sorta) left on highland

right on jefferson

left on dover

this is of dubious legality, but you are on a bike ...

right on compton

snakes uphill - not long or high but it does wake you up

right on alameda de las pulgas

more or less at the top of the rise

woodside road

usually a long wait for the light (longer if there are no cars to trigger it for you)

avy ave

this light gets you every time & there's a little gut-puller of a hill immediately after

sharon rd

another annoying light - worse going north (the other way)

right on santa cruz

it's another pointless street name change

sand hill

santa cruz becomes alpine. another long pointless stoplight

left on junipero serra

a wonderfully dangerous intersection - middle lane turns left or goes straight: which with the arsehole in the huge suv choose?

a small rise just to keep you working

another pointless & annoying stoplight

page mill

typically a nice long wait for this damned stoplight

foothill expressway

another pointless name change

arestradero

another long wait - best to deak around this light by pretending to go through to oak hill but instead turning left then right back onto foothill. that can save you 5min. doesn't work going the other way ...

left on w edith

building 7
